They’ve stood side by side for centuries before they were ever given the names Cecil & Walter. The thought that two such prominent features of the landscape which shape the mighty Whakatipu Wai Māori, would be named this blandly makes my mind boggle.

Thankfully the almost never ending flurry of energetic storms helps clear out such nonsense ideologies so I can get back to a state of wonderment at the beauty of the world around.
